Procurement Manager

Our client is a well-established international manufacturing business supplying specialist products to industrial, institutional and commercial customers across multiple markets. With a complex supply chain spanning the UK, Europe and international markets, procurement plays a critical role in supporting operational performance, supply continuity and commercial success.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of the procurement function for a UK manufacturing operation.

Reporting directly to the European Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for:

Developing and delivering procurement strategy.

Ensuring the reliable and cost-effective supply of raw materials and packaging while driving supplier performance, cost optimisation and supply chain resilience.

You will work closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Regulatory and Finance, as well as collaborating with procurement counterparts across Europe to maximise purchasing synergies and share best practice.

This is a standalone position offering significant autonomy, visibility and influence within the business.

What You Bring

We are seeking a commercially minded procurement professional with strong relationship-building skills and experience operating within a manufacturing environment.

Proven procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience sourcing raw materials, industrial materials, packaging or comparable manufacturing commodities.

Experience within chemical, process manufacturing, FMCG, industrial products or related sectors.

Exposure to international procurement and multi-site manufacturing environments.
