The Procurement Lead is a key player on our team, working on the Procurement Operations Team and with Financial Partnerships. The Procurement Lead is responsible to help ensure Procurement Operations is running seamlessly, and in accordance with company policy as well as guiding Affirm’s business owners through the purchasing process. We value experience, intelligence, creativity and critical thinking in addition to all of the traits necessary to represent Affirm in the payments and FinTech ecosystem.
What you’ll do
Manage the pipeline of procurement requests and ensure that all stakeholder teams (e.g. Legal, Information Security, Strategic Finance, etc.) conduct timely review and approval
Guide internal stakeholders through the process of submitting purchase requests and occasionally submit requests on behalf of business teams.
Manage vendor onboarding in our P2P system, collecting supplier details for proper review
Reviewing supplier external form to validate proper banking and tax information is provided
Conduct beginning to end process in contract review in partnership with Vendor Legal
Manage internal events and hotel purchase process
Be liaison between Affirm events team, Affirm’s Executive Assistants and Vendor Legal to move contract approval process along in a timely manner
In charge of urgent and high priority purchase requests
Manage all Affirm Poland purchases in partnership with Financial Partnerships
Communicate with Polish vendors and review of Polish contracts with vendor legal
Lead and implement assigned process improvement projects that will impact Procurement and broader teams at Affirm.
What we look for
You have 3-5 years of recent experience in Procurement Operations or Supply Chain Operations and Procurement Tools (preferably Zip and Netsuite)
