Our client is a well-established distributor that is dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative products. Due to their ever-expanding growth they are now seeking a Procurement Data Administrator to join their team. The business is well respected and successful -its success is based on great products, hard work, flexibility, and innovation and delivering results.
To clean, maintain and update supplier, product and market data within the internal systems, and provide administration support to the Procurement Team.
Clean, maintain and update supplier and product data.
Periodically update, review and communicate commodity price/input cost movements
Periodically update, review and communicate supplier financial analysis
Conduct analysis of supplier performance and spend (quarterly)
Track supplier capacities and highlight any opportunities or issues
Update cost price trackers and tender documents
Track COGS savings and CPI impacts
Support the procurement team with daily administrative tasks and reporting
Create and distribute monthly procurement report
Assist with onboarding new suppliers
Collate periodic market reviews (including samples)
Strong Excel, Outlook, PowerBI and Database skills
Highly numerate
Excellent attention to detail
Able to communicate with stakeholders internal & external, at all levels
Can work to deadlines and within defined standards
Constructively challenges in the pursuit of continuous improvement
Uses time effectively to manage a busy workload with the ability to prioritise important tasks
Desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future
Knowledge of utilising AI applications to improve business process
Previous experience in a Procurement function
Based in South Manchester, not far from Manchester Airport they also have great public transport links.
