Private Client Tax Associate Director

Crowe Watson Recruitment, a well regarded specialist in UK accountancy practice recruitment, is delighted to be supporting a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow as they look to appoint a Private Client Tax Associate Director. You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, trusts and owner managed business clients, providing expert personal tax advice and strategic planning. Working closely with Partners, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of the private client tax offering, while mentoring and developing a talented team of tax professionals across the Glasgow office.

What is the day-to-day of the role

Manage and develop a diverse portfolio of private client tax clients

Provide proactive advice on personal tax, trusts, estates and succession planning

Work closely with Partners to grow the private client tax offering

Lead, coach and inspire a high performing tax team

Oversee the quality and timely delivery of client work

Required Skills and Qualifications

ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified, or equivalent

Proven experience managing a private client tax portfolio

Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and trusts

Excellent communication and people management skills

Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
