Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

Crowe Watson Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow as they look to appoint a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their well-established tax team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. You will work closely with Partners and senior colleagues on a varied caseload of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and business owners, gaining excellent exposure to complex and interesting tax planning work.

What is the day-to-day of the role

Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, trusts, and business owners

Review tax returns and provide technical support to junior team members

Assist Partners with tax planning and advisory projects

Identify tax planning opportunities and support clients with implementation

Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on a range of private client tax matters

Required Skills and Qualifications

ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience

Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment

Strong technical knowledge of private client tax compliance and planning

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships

Proven ability to manage a portfolio and mentor junior staff
