What is The Role

We’re eager to welcome an outstanding Product Manager to join the Elastic Observability product team, with a focus on Infrastructure Observability. With your knowledge and understanding of the Observability domain and expertise in Infrastructure Observability, you'll help ensure that we give our customers the best end to end full stack Observability experience for the infrastructure systems and services we monitor. This role significantly impacts the success of our Observability product!

What You Will Be Doing

Defining and driving the vision and strategy for Infrastructure Observability, aligning at every step with organizational and company strategy.

Identifying gaps in end to end experience, defining and owning the roadmap to fill those gaps.

Working closely across teams and across Orgs, collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design and other teams to deliver on your roadmap to bring top notch experiences to our users.

Working with our Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, enablement, and feature adoption.

Tracking user engagement and feedback to inform product and feature evolution.

What You Bring

Ideally 10+ years in product management or closely related area

Extensive experience in monitoring cloud and/or infrastructure systems and services powering modern applications

Observability and/or performance monitoring domain knowledge

Comfort working independently with and converting abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working from the customer backwards, using AI tools to bring accelerate alignment and outcomes

Outstanding spoken and written communication skills

Passion for industry trends, competitive landscape

Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across multiple organizations and teams

Experience working in remote, globally distributed work environment is optional but desired

Knowledge of open-source software is optional but desired
