Pricing Analyst

A leading global law firm is seeking a commercially focused Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join its Pricing & Profitability team. This is an exciting, newly created opportunity to play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, improving profitability, and supporting senior stakeholders across an international business.

Working closely with Partners, Finance leaders, and other business services teams, you will provide commercial insight, pricing expertise and financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities in this Pricing Analyst role

Support the development and delivery of the international pricing strategy, ensuring alignment across markets and maximising profitability.

Partner with senior stakeholders to design innovative and value-driven fee arrangements that meet both client and business objectives.

Analyse the profitability of client engagements and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Monitor agreed pricing arrangements and ensure accurate implementation across internal systems.

Support the preparation of pricing proposals and responses to tenders and RFPs, assessing commercial risk and profitability outcomes.

Champion the use of budgeting and financial planning tools to improve matter management and client transparency.

Provide insights, financial reporting and profitability analysis to senior stakeholders and business leaders.

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners, Business Development, Legal Project Management and other key functions to drive commercial success.

Deliver training, guidance and support to stakeholders on pricing, profitability and commercial best practice.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who can confidently partner with senior stakeholders and translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong commercial finance experience within a professional services or similarly fast-paced environment.

Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.

Experience producing client-ready financial analysis and reporting.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Strong problem-solving skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Desirable

Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.

Exposure to AI-enabled tools and technologies.
