As a Manager, Field Engineering (Data and AI), you will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects focusing on complex, strategic accounts, helping to lead our UK&I expansion with a specific focus on the Energy and Resources sector. Your experience partnering with sales organisations will help to drive accelerated adoption of the platform in customers, demonstrated by revenue growth, while coaching new sales and pre-sales team members to work together. You will guide your team and be involved with opportunities to enhance your team's effectiveness. You must be an expert at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions; supporting complex sales cycles; and building relationships with key stakeholders in large corporations.
You will report to the Senior Director, Field Engineering.
Manage hiring, onboarding and building your Pre-Sales Solutions Architect team
Where required, rapidly scale the designated team without sacrificing quality
Use AI natively yourself to drive efficiency and scale
Build a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team. To embody and promote Databricks' customer-obsessed, teamwork and diverse culture
Support an increase in consumption revenue through the investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
Promote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organisation
Display an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
Build Databricks' brand in UK&I in partnership with the Marketing and Sales team
Lead from the front by engaging directly with key customer stakeholders to ensure and speed up customer projects and technical implementation decisions
Help Databricks continue to expand by winning hearts and minds as we evolve our processes to support our business and technical growth
