Practice Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Practice Accountant to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in the North West. Practice Accountant – The Job

Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

Preparation and submission of corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT returns

Management accounts preparation and analysis

Liaising directly with clients to provide proactive advice and support

Assisting with audits where required

Supporting junior staff and reviewing work when appropriate

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation

Practice Accountant – Ideal Candidate

AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent experience in practice)

Experienced in a UK accountancy practice environment

Confident managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision

Strong in technical accounting and tax compliance

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

A strong communicator who can build trusted client relationship
