Role: Platform Engineer Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time Seniority: Senior Salary: £85,000 - £105,000

Are you a skilled Platform Engineer looking to build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a fast-paced, regulated environment?

We're hiring a hands-on engineer to design, implement and optimise AWS-based platforms, working closely with architecture and security teams in a hybrid London setup. What You'll Do

Design and manage AWS cloud architecture

Build infrastructure as code using Terraform

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, CircleCI)

Manage containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate)

Embed security tooling (WAF, IDS, IPS, SIEM)

Troubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure

Required Experience

3-5 years as a Platform Engineer

Strong AWS and cloud architecture expertise

Terraform and CI/CD pipeline experience

Knowledge of cloud security tooling

Strong troubleshooting skills

Kubernetes

Nice to Have

Banking/financial services experience

Python scripting

Infrastructure management exposure

Broader enterprise architecture experience
