Demand Planning Team Leader
What's the role As Materials Management Team Leader for Planning, you lead the optimisation of material flows across Northern Europe warehouses, ensuring the right inventory is positioned in the right location at the right time. You focus on enhancing Customer Experience, improving Profitability, accelerating Inventory Turns, and optimising Net Working Capital through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration. What You'll do
Lead the regional Planning team for a defined Business Area, delivering performance across Forecast Accuracy, Product Availability, Inventory (DOH) and Obsolescence KPIs
Own the management of stock shortages, driving timely and cost-effective resolution plans while maintaining maximum focus on customer service and delivery performance
Recruit, develop, and coach a high-performing planning team delivering efficient internal and external customer support
Drive LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives across Materials Management.
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance to develop a robust, consensus demand forecast that aligns commercial ambitions with supply chain capabilities, incorporating multiple scenarios to support sales growth and delivery targets
Collaborate with Global Process Managers and Logistics to optimise materials planning processes, inventory levels and total logistics cost
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred
Professional experience in Logistics, including Demand Planning
Strong process and systems expertise (SAP, APO, Blue Yonder, MS Office, BOA)
Strong analytical and numerical skills with data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and stakeholder management skills
Resilient, assertive and collaborative
Ability to motivate and influence others
