This is a dual-capacity role, combining hands-on case management with a technical leadership and mentoring remit and would suit a Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Lawyer who enjoys complex litigation work and supporting the development of others.
The Role
This position offers a balance of fee-earning responsibility alongside a more strategic, technical contribution to the wider team. You will be trusted to manage your own caseload while acting as a go-to technical resource across the post-litigation process.
Key aspects of the role include
Managing a portfolio of Intermediate Track litigated cases, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with client and business objectives
Providing technical guidance, supervision and mentoring to colleagues across the team
Drafting high-quality legal documentation, including pleadings, interlocutory applications and supporting statements
Advising on complex litigation issues, procedural strategy and risk
Supporting team development through knowledge sharing and training delivery
Ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulatory obligations and internal frameworks
Working collaboratively with management to improve processes and enhance client outcomes

An interest in emerging technologies such as AI would be advantageous (but not essential)
