The Role
We are looking for an experienced People Technology Engineering Manager to join the HelloFresh People Technology leadership team. This role leads the Engineering discipline within People Technology and is responsible for the architecture, capability and delivery of the technical solutions that connect, automate and increasingly enhance our employee technology landscape.
Today, the squad’s primary focus is Workday integrations and connected enterprise systems. Over time, its remit will expand across workflow automation, low-code development, AI-enabled solutions and modern engineering capabilities. You will act as the engineering architect and design authority for People Technology, setting technical direction, shaping architecture and establishing standards that balance delivery speed, scalability, security, maintainability and long-term sustainability. This includes maintaining strong expertise in Workday integrations and emerging platform capabilities such as Workday Orchestrate and Extend / Build.
You will also lead, develop and performance-manage a team of engineers, building capability across integrations, automation and AI engineering. You will create a high-performing environment grounded in technical quality, accountability and continuous learning, while ensuring the squad has the skills, capacity and ways of working needed to meet both current and future demand. While you may remain hands-on where appropriate, your primary focus will be technical leadership, people development, capability building and delivery oversight.
As the senior business partner for engineering, you will represent the discipline across People Technology and work closely with the People function and stakeholders from across the Group. You will help shape roadmaps, influence prioritisation and investment decisions, and translate business needs into scalable engineering solutions.
