The opportunity
Are you an experienced PA who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and digitally confident Personal Assistant to provide high-quality executive support to our Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Directors.
This is a varied and influential role at the heart of our Commercial Leadership Team, helping senior leaders. You'll provide proactive executive support across a broad range of activities. This will include complex diary and inbox management, meeting preparation, travel, communications, briefings, action tracking and project coordination.
You'll also play an important part in championing smarter ways of working, using Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce administrative burden, improve planning and support effective decision-making.
As PA to the Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Directors, you'll act as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders, colleagues and external partners. You'll also support the effective day-to-day coordination of the Northampton office.
Providing high-quality executive support to Commercial Directors
Diary coordination, meeting management and administrative requirements across the directorate
Coordinate Commercial Leadership Team meetings, workshops, away days and governance activity, including agendas, papers, actions and follow-up
Prepare briefings, reports, presentations and communications for senior internal and external audiences
Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners and colleagues across BHF
Champion smarter ways of working by using Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency About you
You'll have significant experience providing executive support to senior leaders, ideally at C-suite or Director level, within a complex organisation. Confident, calm and professional, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working at pace and using your judgement to decide what needs attention first.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. You'll bring strong digital fluency, with confidence using Microsoft 365 tools and an interest in exploring how AI and automation can support better ways of working.
You'll take pride in delivering excellent support, building trusted relationships and helping leaders focus on the work that will make the biggest difference.
Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced, complex environment
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
Excellent judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong Microsoft 365 skills
A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify smarter ways of working
Resilience, adaptability and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Most importantly, you'll bring a proactive, collaborative and values-led approach. Working arrangements
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least two days per week in our Northampton office. Occasional travel to our other offices, including our London head office, will also be required in this role. This may vary from time to time so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Interview process
The interview process will consist of two stages. 1st stage interviews will be held via MS Teams and be a Q&A session shortly after the closing date. 2nd stage interviews are due to take place in person, at either our Northampton office on 13th October or our London office on 14th October.
