Role Overview

The Operations Manager oversees the full day-to-day operations of the dealership, ensuring all departments run efficiently, profitably, and in line with company standards. This role plays a key part in driving performance, improving processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across sales, service, parts, and administration while ensuring smooth coordination between departments

Monitor stock levels, vehicle sourcing, and inventory turnover to maintain optimal availability

Support the sales team in achieving targets and improving conversion rates and profitability

Manage budgets, control costs, and track financial performance including margins and expenses

Ensure high standards of customer service and a professional customer experience

Lead, motivate, and develop staff, including setting targets and conducting performance reviews

Support recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing staff training

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, and company policies

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness

Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity and profitability
