BBC OPERATIONS ENGINEER | AWS | £450/DAY INSIDE IR35 | HYBRID
My client, the BBC, is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join their 24/7 Operations team supporting some of the UK's most recognisable digital services, including BBC News, Sport, iPlayer and Sounds.
This is a hybrid contract, requiring onsite attendance 4 days every 5 weeks, paying £450 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company, with the contract running until 31/03/2027.
1st and 2nd Line Support experience
AWS operational support experience
Jira and incident management experience
Networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, web technologies)
Linux troubleshooting skills
Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment
Monitoring and supporting critical production systems
Investigating and resolving incidents
Managing tickets and escalations
Supporting AWS and on-premise environments
Working within a 24/7 operations team??????
