Job Description
The Role (What’s in the Box)
Ingredients are at the heart of our product. As we continue expanding our menus and concepts across the Nordics, the need for faster innovation, greater ingredient variety and stronger structure around ingredient onboarding has never been greater.
As our Ingredient Project Manager (Maternity Cover), you will own and drive end-to-end New Ingredient Development (NID) across Sweden, Norway and Denmark, ensuring new ingredients move efficiently from idea to menu while balancing quality, cost, operational feasibility and speed-to-market.
Sitting within the Culinary (Product) team, you will act as the central connector between Product and Sourcing, partnering closely with Local and International Sourcing Managers, FSQA, Supply Chain, Marketing and Menu Planning to ensure seamless onboarding and transparency on progress, risks and opportunities.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will bring structure to ingredient development, challenge existing constraints such as packaging, shelf life and certification requirements, and unlock opportunities that enable us to innovate faster without compromising quality or margin.
What You’ll Do (The Recipe)
Own and drive cross-functional ingredient onboarding projects from brief through to menu launch across the Nordic markets.
Act as the key point of contact between Sourcing and Product, ensuring alignment on ingredient specifications, priorities and timelines.
Build and maintain a clear, real-time New Ingredient Development (NID) pipeline, including concept allocation, risks, dependencies and expected launch timing.
Increase speed-to-menu by improving structure, visibility and alignment across stakeholders.
Identify structural blockers such as packaging formats, transit trials, shelf life or certification requirements, and define clear action plans to unlock high-potential ingredients.
Create data-driven business cases for high-impact or high-risk ingredients to support leaders
