About the role
As New Business Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of BHF's corporate partnerships portfolio. You'll develop and manage a targeted new business pipeline across a range of sectors, securing strategic, commercial, Charity of the Year, and employee fundraising partnerships.

As a strategic thinker, you'll identify opportunities that deliver benefits beyond income, including increased brand awareness, reach, and wider organisational impact.
Your work will help generate vital income to support the British Heart Foundation's mission to save and improve lives.

You'll have a proven track record of securing partnerships, sponsorships, or commercial opportunities and achieving ambitious financial targets. You'll be confident managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to pitching, negotiation, and contracting.
Knowledge of corporate partnerships, corporate social responsibility, or the commercial sector.
Experience developing and selling partnership, sponsorship, or sales packages.
End-to-end experience of identifying opportunities and onboarding corporate partners or clients.
Strong communication, networking, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Confidence presenting to senior-level decision-makers.
Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering against agreed timescales.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
A fundraising and/or marketing qualification, or equivalent experience.
Experience of preparing partnership contracts (desirable).
You'll thrive if you're proactive, results-driven, and motivated by building relationships and securing new opportunities. You're a confident and credible professional with a creative and forward-thinking approach, committed to delivering partnerships that create long-term value for both BHF and its partners.
