Network Engineer

Network Security Engineer - Cisco ISE, DNAC, TrustSec

£550 per day (Inside IR35)

London (remote with ad-hoc on site)

A client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a large enterprise environment, working on secure network access, segmentation, and automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.

Key Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) & Cisco DNA Center within enterprise-level network environments.

Solid experience creating & managing ISE policies via Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)

Proven experience implementing TrustSec and Security Group Tags (SGT)

Expertise in 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and NAC solutions

Comfortable integrating Active Directory (AD) with ISE for user-based access control

Hands-on with Plug and Play (PnP) deployments for Cisco switches

Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, or Ansible for automation

Experience driving network automation using templates, APIs, or scripting

Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

Available immediately

Flexibility to go on site if /when needed

Cisco Certified (CCIE / CCNP)

Experience within large enterprise or secure environments preferred.
