National Account Manager

National Account Manager Wembley (office based) £45,000-£60,000 per annum

Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established food manufacturer based in Wembley to find an experienced, customer-facing Account Manager to look after their key accounts and drive growth across the independent and speciality channel.

This is a great role for a commercial, relationship-led account manager who enjoys being out in front of customers as much as managing the day-to-day — combining the profile of recognised national accounts with the opportunity to open up exciting new speciality business.

The role

Manage and grow major retail and online grocery accounts, including the likes of Co-op and Ocado

Develop new and existing business across farm shops, delis and independent/speciality retail

Act as the key point of contact for your customers, building strong, lasting relationships

Travel throughout the UK for customer meetings, with a base at the Wembley office

Manage forecasting, listings, pricing and NPD conversations to grow each account

Work closely with internal teams to deliver a first-class service to customers

What we're looking for

Proven account management experience within foodservice or food manufacturing

Experience managing retail and/or online grocery accounts (Co-op, Ocado or similar) is highly desirable

Confident selling into independent and speciality retail such as farm shops and delis

A genuinely customer-facing operator who's happy to travel UK-wide for meetings

Commercial, well-organised and relationship-driven
