About the Role
At Klaviyo, we believe the businesses that own their customer relationships win. Our Sales team is how that belief becomes reality for some of the world's most ambitious brands—and we're growing our presence in Italy.
We're looking for a Mid-Enterprise Account Executive based in Milan to help us bring Klaviyo to companies that are reimagining how they connect with their customers. You'll own the full sales cycle—from first conversation to signed agreement—selling into complex, multi-stakeholder organisations and partnering closely with Solutions, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to deliver lasting value. This is a high-ownership role on a tenured, high-performing team, with real opportunity to shape Klaviyo's upmarket trajectory in the Italian market.
How You'll Make a Difference
Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
Continuously experiment with AI tools—testing, learning, and sharing insights to keep the team ahead of the curve, and championing new applications that accelerate workflows and elevate quality responsibly.
Apply AI fluency to streamline your work and reinvest saved time into higher-impact selling activity.
Own the full sales cycle—from self-generated pipeline through prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close—with a focus on net-new mid-enterprise logos.
Build and execute territory and account strategies that drive long-term growth across your patch.
Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver a world-class buying experience for every prospect.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with clarity and confidence, translating Klaviyo's technical capabilities into business value.
Contribute to team culture by mentoring peers, sharing market intelligence, and raising the bar across the AE team.
Feed insights back to Product and Engineering to help shape roadmap decisions based on what you're hearing in market.

You use AI tools to accelerate exploration, shorten iteration cycles, and bring sharper ideas to the table—you don't wait to be told what to try.
You're based in Milan and available to be in-office three days per week.
You're fluent in both Italian and English—able to sell, negotiate, and build relationships with confidence in either language.
You bring 6+ years of closing experience, preferably in SaaS or MarTech, with a track record of winning net-new business from self-generated leads through to close.
You're comfortable in complex deals—experienced navigating multiple stakeholders, long cycles, and sophisticated buying processes without losing momentum.
You sell with technical confidence, translating product capability into business impact in a way that resonates with both technical evaluators and commercial decision-makers.
You're resilient and adaptable—energised by a fast-moving environment and willing to find a way forward when the path isn't obvious.
You're a natural relationship-builder with strong influencing skills and a genuine interest in your customers' success beyond the deal.
You're committed to the craft—curious, coachable, and invested in contri
