Senior Manager, Applications Go-to-Market (GTM) Marketing 6 months initially

Job Summary We are seeking a high-impact Senior Manager, Applications GTM Marketing to develop and execute regional sales plays, integrated marketing campaigns, and field activation programs that drive pipeline growth and revenue for our Applications portfolio.
This role will partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Demand Generation, Industry Marketing, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Success, PR/Communications, Solution Engineering and Business Development teams to bring product strategies to market and accelerate adoption across priority segments and industries. The successful candidate will combine strong enterprise applications knowledge with proven experience translating messaging and product value propositions into actionable sales and marketing programs.
The candidate will act as the bridge between corporate strategy and EMEA execution, translating global Applications priorities, product launches, and industry initiatives into scalable GTM motions, activation plans, and measurable business impact.
Candidates with product marketing, solution marketing, campaign management, field marketing, or GTM experience from SAP, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, or similar enterprise software companies are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales Plays: Develop and execute regional sales plays aligned to strategic growth priorities, industry opportunities, and competitive market dynamics. Translate product positioning into practical programs that support pipeline generation. Create playbooks, messaging frameworks, campaign assets, and sales enablement materials. Partner with regional sales leaders to align GTM activities with business objectives.
Product Campaigns: Lead integrated marketing campaigns for Applications solutions including ERP, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, CX, and industry-focused offerings. Coordinate campaign planning across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Partner Marketing, Events, and Field Marketing teams. Design integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital, field, ABM, partner-led, events) and end-to-end customer journeys. Ensure campaign messaging is consistent, customer-centric, and aligned to target personas, business outcomes, and priority industries. Support product launches, solution awareness initiatives, and competitive marketing programs.
Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with campaign materials, sales kits, playbooks, discovery narratives, customer stories, lighthouse references, competitive positioning, battle cards, and value messaging. Support field activation efforts to increase adoption of GTM programs and improve sales effectiveness. Deliver enablement sessions and communications. Gather and incorporate field feedback to continuously improve programs and messaging.
Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Industry Marketing, Field Marketing, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Business Development and Partner teams. Act as a key liaison between global marketing strategy and regional execution teams. Share customer, market, and competitive insights.
Performance: Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, pipeline contribution, and program effectiveness. Analyse results and recommend improvements to increase impact and ROI. Develop regular reporting and business updates for marketing and sales leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
6-10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, product marketing, solution marketing, field marketing, or GTM roles.
Experience supporting enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, or business software solutions.
Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing campaigns, sales plays, or field activation programs.
Experience with customer journey design, pipeline acceleration programs and integrated demand generation.
Experience working with or marketing solutions comparable to SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft, or ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of ERP, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, CX, or related business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise sales organisations and complex buying cycles.
Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and digital marketing programs.
Industry expertise in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, financial services, public sector, telecommunications, or other key verticals.
