Role Purpose
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global market-leading organisation operating across multiple international sectors. The role will focus on driving local growth through targeted marketing activity while providing key internal support to the external sales team.
Based in the Runcorn office, you’ll work closely with colleagues across sales and wider departments in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. This position offers clear development opportunities, with direct exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to an ambitious growth strategy.

Day-to-Day of the Role
Plan and execute local marketing campaigns to support business growth
Manage and follow up on inbound leads, qualifying opportunities for the external sales team
Provide internal sales support, including preparing quotations and processing orders
Coordinate and attend UK & Ireland trade shows and industry events
Support broader marketing initiatives, including attendance at an annual international seminar
Manage and maintain professional social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn)
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer journey
Required Skills & Experience
A formal qualification in Marketing
2–3+ years’ experience in a marketing role (ideally within a technical or product-based environment)
Strong commercial awareness and confidence engaging with customers
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce (SAP knowledge is advantageous)
Proficiency in managing professional social media platforms
A proactive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
Experience supporting sales functions or working in a commercial environment would be beneficial
