Take ownership of the month-end close and associated journals
Prepare and manage weekly and monthly profit and loss statements
Manage the sales ledger, invoice queries, credit control and intercompany billing
Oversee inventory reconciliations and review stock-count results
Analyse financial performance and recommend process improvements
Partner with production teams to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies
Develop labour standards for new production items and review existing bills of materials
Support strategic financial planning and wider business-improvement projects
Experienced in management accounting, financial reporting and analysis
Ideally studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Manufacturing accounting experience would be a strong advantage
Commercially aware, analytical and confident working with operational teams
Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting or ERP systems
Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of deadlines
Knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE and tax compliance
