Job Description

We are pleased to be working with a specialist manufacturer based in Manchester that are looking to onboard a Management Accountant, they have an extremely well established finance function and are looking for a candidate who wants to get involved within projects alongside the day to day of Management Accounts.

Management Accountant – Responsibilities

Completion of the Month End Procedure

Preparation of monthly Management Accounts pack with analysis and commentary

Cost and variance analysis

Weekly revenue recognition analysis

Stock Analysis

Quarterly VAT returns

Budgeting

Supporting completion of projects cost to complete spreadsheets

Payroll cover – Weekly and monthly

Supporting annual audits

Cash book reconciliations

Management Accountant – Candidate Spec

ACCA, CIMA or QBE within Manufacturing

Working knowledge of ERP systems

Microsoft office and Excel skills – Must be an advanced user on Excel

Previous experience of working within Manufacturing/Engineering or Construction

Previous experience of working in a similar role

Salary c£50k

Hybrid working after probation
