Description
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimise cost control and operational efficiencies.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail sector.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies in all financial activities.
Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Profile
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a management accountant role within a fast paced environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Effective communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
Annual bonus up to 10%
Hybrid working from a Lancashire office (3 days in office, 2 at home)
