As a Management Accountant in the business services industry, you'll focus on managing financial operations and providing insights that drive decision-making. This role involves ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and supporting the organisation's growth through effective cost management and analysis.

This opportunity is with a business services company operating in the facilities sector.
Description
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Provide detailed cost analysis and support budget planning processes.
Work closely with operational teams to monitor financial performance.
Assist in forecasting and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver financial insights and recommendations.
Profile
Previous experience in a finance environment required , ideally commercially focused experience
Ideally studying for professional accountancy qualification (support provided)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Good IT skills
Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
Commitment to multiple deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to process improvement within team including future opportunities from Microsoft 365
