We are partnering with a highly regarded private equity-backed technology business in North London to recruit an exceptional Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically strong finance professional, ideally trained within a Top 10 audit firm and bringing either proven industry experience or a strong background in management accounting within a commercial environment.

A private equity-backed UK services business specialising in technology-enabled operational and consultancy solutions. The organisation has grown into a multi-million-pound company with a nationwide presence and a workforce of around 100 employees. With a strong focus on data, digital transformation, and operational efficiency, the business is continuing to scale rapidly while modernising its systems, processes, and commercial capabilities.
Description
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making processes.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory compliance documents.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors when required.
Profile
A professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA
Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience within the business services industry is desirable.
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.
1 day working from home (Friday)
