About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join a large, international organisation undergoing continued growth and transformation. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly valued.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality management accounting, financial control and reporting activities across multiple business entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide meaningful financial insight, support decision-making and help drive process improvements across the finance function.
This position is ideal for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys operating in a complex environment and is passionate about delivering excellence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and controls. Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Accounting & Reporting
Lead month-end accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and other accounting entries.
Produce insightful financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
Ensure delivery of reporting requirements within strict deadlines.
Provide commentary and recommendations on financial performance and key trends.
Financial Control & Compliance
Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues proactively.
Support compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing supporting documentation and explanations as required.
Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement & Transformation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate activities.
Work collaboratively with finance and technology teams to enhance efficiency.
Support transformation projects aimed at improving financial reporting and controls.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with finance and operational stakeholders.
Present financial information clearly and confidently to senior management.
Influence decision-making through high-quality analysis and recommendations.
Act as a trusted finance partner across the organisation.
About YouEssential Experience & Qualifications
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong management accounting and/or audit background.
Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
Experience working within a large, complex organisation.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion/HFM or similar.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
Experience researching and interpreting complex accounting or reporting issues.
