Management Accountant

Management Accountant Location: London Salary: Up to £68,000 + Bonus

The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of management reporting and financial analysis while acting as a key business partner across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities include

Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.

Producing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls.

Preparing board-level reporting and performance analysis.

Partnering with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Managing and developing a small finance team.

Reviewing accounting work and ensuring accuracy across financial reporting.

Authorising payments and overseeing key financial transactions.

Preparing and reviewing client invoicing processes.

Providing insight and analysis on business performance, profitability, and expenditure.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and process enhancements.

Contributing to wider finance projects and strategic business initiatives.

Delivering ad-hoc analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.

About You We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment.

You will ideally have

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.

Strong ERP systems experience, ideally Sage X3 or a comparable platform.

Advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.

A proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset.

Previous team management or supervisory experience.

The ability to balance technical accounting responsibilities with commercial insight.
