Management Accountant

JHE & Partners are excited to be working exclusively with a company in Leeds as they look to recruit a Management Accountant.

Reporting to a brilliant FD, the successful candidate will have full responsibility to produce the Management Accounts pack for this £8million turnover company. Duties and responsibilities will include

Production of monthly management accounts pack for FD review

Preparation of monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow analysis and variance analysis against budgets

Accruals and prepayments

Maintenance of the fixed asset register

Balance sheet reconciliations

Posting journals

Support annual budgeting and forecasting

Production of insightful reporting including profitability analysis

Bank reconciliations

Assisting with VAT returns

Liaising with external audit teams

Working closely with the FD and wider finance team on a variety of ad hoc projects

Applicants will ideally be part qualified CIMA or ACCA, have excellent communication skills and advanced IT skills, specifically with Excel.
