Management Accountant

Your new role As Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing and reporting on grant-funded activities across the organisation. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you'll take responsibility for the end-to-end grant claim process, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time. Key responsibilities include:

Managing grant claims from preparation through to audit completion.

Building strong relationships with project and operational stakeholders to support grant-funded activities.

Producing grant rate calculations and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

Monitoring grant expenditure against budgets and providing regular reporting to budget holders.

Reconciling grant income and expenditure within the finance system.

Supporting external audits and providing key financial information and documentation.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or studying towards qualification.

Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.

Strong analytical skills with experience handling and interpreting large volumes of financial data.

Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, or working closely with external auditors.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate financial information.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
