The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified accountant to join a high-performing Internal Finance team within a well-established professional services business.
This is a broad and commercially focused role that will give you exposure to senior stakeholders, business partnering activities, financial planning, reporting and process improvement initiatives. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make their first move post-qualification and develop a long-term career within a collaborative and supportive finance function. Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
Deliver accurate variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
Support the budgeting and forecasting process
Produce KPI reporting and management information packs
Assist with cashflow forecasting and financial analysis
Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight
Support year-end processes and audit requirements
Identify and implement process improvements within finance
Contribute to finance transformation and systems enhancement projects
Provide analysis to support strategic decision-making
About You
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or recently qualified)
Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Experience gained within practice, industry or professional services
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Excel skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, commercially minded and keen to continue developing professionally
