The role: What's in the Box

As a Legal & Compliance Intern in our Benelux Legal team, you'll be the first point of contact for day-to-day legal questions across the business. You'll support our legal counsels by taking ownership of routine contract reviews and compliance tasks, so commercial projects keep moving without delay.

Our team works closely with Marketing, HR, Operations and Procurement to help HelloFresh grow while managing risk in a fast-moving, regulated food and e-commerce environment. This is your chance to see how in-house legal work directly enables the business, and to build hands-on experience you won't get in a lecture hall.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

Draft, review and process standard commercial agreements such as NDAs, Terms & Conditions and vendor contracts, in collaboration with our legal counsels

Act as the first filter for legal questions from teams like Marketing and HR, giving practical answers and escalating complex matters to the right counsel

Support the team in keeping our compliance and regulatory obligations up to date, including record-keeping and basic regulatory checks

Organize and maintain our legal databases and templates so colleagues can quickly find what they need

Research legal topics relevant to our industry and turn your findings into clear, concise summaries for the team

Help improve our legal processes by spotting recurring questions and suggesting templates, FAQs or smarter ways of working

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law at a university or hogeschool

A basic understanding of contract law and corporate compliance

Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch

A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset: you see legal as a partner that helps the business move forward

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on high-volume tasks

A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
