Adele Carr Recruitment is working with a well-established and reputable Liverpool law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Accounts Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the firm's accounts function.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced Legal Cashier, Senior Legal Cashier or Legal Accounts professional looking to step into a management position.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day legal accounts function and supervising the accounts team.
Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
Managing client and office accounts, including reconciliations and payments.
Overseeing client monies, transfers, billing and disbursements.
Supporting fee earners and Directors with financial queries.
Assisting with month-end, reporting and financial controls.
Supporting SRA audits, AML and compliance requirements.
Identifying and improving accounts processes and procedures.
About You
Previous experience within a legal accounts/cashiering environment.
Strong knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
Experience supervising or managing an accounts team.
Good understanding of client and office accounts.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a busy legal environment.
Legal cashiering or relevant finance qualifications desirable.
