Lead Front End Developer| Leeds | Hybrid | £60,000 - £70,000 DOE

We're working with a growing organisation looking to hire a Frontend Lead to take ownership of their web platform and digital experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a team of developers while shaping the technical direction of the frontend. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and accessible web experiences, working closely with UX, backend, and wider stakeholders to drive the roadmap forward. The Role

Own the frontend architecture and technical roadmap

Lead, mentor, and support a team of developers

Deliver performant, scalable, and user-focused web experiences

Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise and plan delivery

Collaborate with UX and backend teams to deliver seamless user journeys

Drive best practices across code quality, testing, and documentation

Continuously improve the platform and reduce technical debt

About You

Strong experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend development

Previous experience leading or mentoring developers

Proven track record of building and maintaining complex web applications

Comfortable working cross-functionally in agile teams

Strong focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainable code
