Junior Key Account Sales Executive – Paris (Office-first)
Small businesses across France keep the local economy moving, and they need a payments partner that makes running a business simpler, not harder. That's where you come in.
Team description
Our Paris sales team helps small and growing merchants across France get set up with SumUp's payment tools, often as their very first introduction to the brand. We're a close-knit, target-driven group that thrives on outbound conversations, quick thinking and celebrating wins together. This role gives you a real seat at the table from day one: you'll own conversations end to end, learn the fundamentals of a fast-paced sales cycle and see the direct impact of your work every time a merchant signs up.
What you'll do
💼 Reach out to small business prospects by phone, email and social media, starting the conversation and building the pipeline
🤝 Get to know each business's needs and show how SumUp can genuinely help them
🎤 Run product pitches and demos that turn curiosity into commitment
🔥 Manage the full sales cycle, from first contact through to closing the deal
📊 Track performance against targets and use feedback and data to keep improving
🧠 Share ideas with the team and help build an energised, collaborative office culture
You'll be great for this role if…
Experience in outbound sales or business development, with a genuine drive to learn and grow quickly.
Comfort working with high volumes of phone-based outreach.
Curiosity and confidence when speaking with new people and solving their problems.
A results-driven mindset with a track record of working towards targets.
Fluency in French and English, given daily contact with local merchants and a global team.
