About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer with proven experience in graphic design, photography and videography to join our team in Leeds.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in visual communication, branding and digital content, with practical experience creating engaging and professional visual content for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, presentations and promotional materials.

You should be confident developing creative concepts and producing high-quality content across graphic design, photography and video. You will have a good understanding of typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy, together with excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt content for different audiences, platforms and brand guidelines.

You will be able to work independently and collaboratively with marketing and wider business teams, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, proactive and keen to develop their skills within a professional creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging graphics and visual content for digital and print marketing.

Design social media posts, website graphics, presentations, email campaigns and promotional materials.

Create and edit photographic and video content for social media, websites, marketing campaigns and other digital channels.

Plan and carry out photography for marketing, promotional and social media purposes.

Film and produce video content, including short-form content for social media and digital platforms.

Edit photographs and video footage to produce polished, professional content.

Develop creative concepts from initial ideas through to final artwork and finished visual content.

Edit and prepare images and other visual assets for digital and print use.

Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity across graphic design, photography and video.

Adapt designs, photographs and video content for different platforms, audiences and marketing channels.

Work from creative briefs and respond positively to feedback.

Support the planning and execution of photoshoots and video projects.

Manage and organise photography, video footage and other digital creative assets.

Manage multiple creative projects and meet agreed deadlines.

Collaborate with marketing, sales and other departments on creative projects.

Keep up to date with current graphic design, photography, videography, social media and digital marketing trends.

Key Skills & Experience

Candidates must have practical experience in graphic design, photography and videography.

Proven experience in graphic design and visual communication.

Proven experience in photography, including taking and editing photographs for professional, commercial, social media or other relevant purposes.

Proven experience in videography, including filming and editing video content.

Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.

Adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Illustrator.

Adobe InDesign.

Canva.

Image editing and retouching.

Video editing and content creation.

Good understanding of composition, colour, typography and visual hierarchy.

Understanding of lighting, framing and visual storytelling.

Ability to adapt creative content for different platforms and audiences.

Strong attention to detail.

Creative problem-solving skills.

Strong organisation and time management.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and the ability to respond positively to creative feedback.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio is essential for this role and must be submitted as part of your application.

Graphic design

Photography

Videography and video editing

Social media and/or digital content creation

Candidates should provide a range of relevant examples demonstrating their creativity, technical ability, attention to detail and ability to produce professional visual content for different audiences and platforms.

Applications without a portfolio demonstrating relevant graphic design, photography and videography experience may not be considered.

Location & Eligibility

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Leeds.

Must have full right to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

The role may require occasional travel for photography, filming, events and other content creation activities.
