The Company Nigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a leading international food manufacturing business exclusively in the appointment of an IT Procurement Manager. This is a high-profile opportunity to join a business undergoing significant transformation and investment, taking ownership of technology procurement across a complex, multi-site operation. Reporting into senior leadership, the IT Procurement Manager will operate across both strategic sourcing and day-to-day procurement activity, influencing critical technology decisions that support future growth.
The Opportunity The IT Procurement Manager will take end-to-end responsibility for IT procurement across software, infrastructure, cloud services, telecoms, hardware and professional services. Working closely with IT, Finance and operational stakeholders, you'll lead supplier negotiations, deliver cost optimisation initiatives and support major technology transformation programmes.
Leading sourcing and contract negotiations across a broad IT spend portfolio
Managing strategic supplier relationships and commercial performance
Supporting major technology projects, including ERP and infrastructure transformation initiatives
Negotiating software licensing, managed services and cloud agreements
Driving procurement governance, supplier consolidation and cost-saving opportunities
Managing the full contract lifecycle, including commercial risk and compliance
About You The ideal IT Procurement Manager will have:
Proven experience in IT/Technology procurement
Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, infrastructure and IT services procurement
Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and supplier contracts
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
A hands-on approach and willingness to operate across strategic and transactional activity
Experience within manufacturing, industrial or multi-site environments would be advantageous
A pragmatic, resilient and commercially focused mindset
