IOS Engineer

iOS Engineer (Contract) Location: Manchester

Hours: 40 hrs/week Role Overview An established engineering team in Manchester is looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to build, maintain, and scale high-impact native iOS features. You'll work on short development cycles, integrate backend-driven UI solutions, and ship production-ready code with minimal onboarding. Key Responsibilities

Develop native iOS features from technical design to release using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.

Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and work with backend-driven UI architectures.

Write clean, testable code, maintain unit tests, and debug production issues.

Monitor app stability using crash reporting and observability tools.

Key Requirements

Good years of professional iOS development experience.

Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit interoperability.

Hands-on experience with modern architecture (MVVM), Xcode, and REST/GraphQL.

Proven ability to ramp up quickly in large, existing codebases.

Familiarity with CI/CD, unit testing, and AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Codex).
