About the team

Our finance team is responsible for shaping our understanding of how Stripe is performing as a business, as well as what our best opportunities are for continued growth. We’re looking for an experienced financial controller to join our International Accounting team. As a key part of our controllership team in Dublin, you will help us build our technical accounting and financial reporting processes, work with business partners, financial partners, external stakeholders and our engineers. You will help us develop best in class accounting processes and help track our progress within a fast-paced environment that’s growing globally.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead the Financial Close: Manage the end-to-end monthly close of US GAAP books, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Manage Reporting Deliverables: Oversee the preparation and submission of comprehensive regulatory and financial reporting.

Own the Statutory Audit Process: Lead financial statement preparation, audit support, and technical documentation, culminating in presentations to the Board of Directors.

Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Proactively monitor and adapt to changes in global accounting and tax regulations to maintain strict compliance.

Oversee & support preparation of direct and indirect tax returns.
