£32,500 – £35,000 per annum
The Internal Recruitment Resourcer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day recruitment of staff across Select Lifestyles. The post holder will work with Operations Managers and Service Managers to identify staffing requirements, source suitable candidates and support the recruitment process through to pre-employment checks.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Candidate Sourcing
• Manage the daily recruitment of candidates across the organisation. • Create, post and manage job advertisements on appropriate recruitment platforms and social media. • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment events and other suitable channels. • Screen applications and carry out initial candidate screening. • Maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies. • Keep candidates updated throughout the recruitment process. Interviewing and Selection • Coordinate and conduct weekly interviews for available vacancies. • Ensure interviews are structured and relevant to each role. • Assess candidates against the required skills, experience, values and suitability for care services. • Provide feedback and recommendations to Service Managers and Operations Managers. • Support managers with recruitment and selection where required. Service Visits and Recruitment Support • Carry out weekly service visits to understand current and future staffing requirements. • Act as the first point of contact for managers regarding recruitment. • Discuss vacancies, staffing requirements and recruitment progress with managers. • Identify recruitment challenges and suggest appropriate solutions. Recruitment Events and Employer Branding • Attend job fairs, recruitment events, open days and community recruitment initiatives. • Represent Select Lifestyles professionally and promote the organisation as an employer. Pre-Employment Checks and Compliance • Complete and coordinate Right to Work checks. • Request, monitor and follow up on candidate references. • Coordinate DBS checks and ensure required information is obtained. • Ensure recruitment documentation is accurate and completed on time. • Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information. • Escalate issues relating to pre-employment checks appropriately. • Keep vacancy and candidate information up to date. • Use Microsoft Word and Excel for recruitment administration, reporting and record keeping. • Support the HR team with general recruitment administration. • Learn and use new recruitment systems and processes as required.
Essential Criteria
• Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, HR or a similar role. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Positive and professional approach. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to learn new systems, processes and procedures.
