This Interim HR Manager role in Harrogate is all about keeping things running smoothly within the Human Resources department. You'll be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, ensuring the organisation operates efficiently and effectively.
We're seeking an experienced HR Manager who can start within the next month and commit to an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to step into a broad and influential role within a respected charitable organisation. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll provide both strategic and operational HR expertise, leading on employee relations, organisational change, people projects and workforce planning.
The organisation is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bringing credibility, confidence and practical HR leadership from day one. As such, applicants should be available immediately or able to start within the next month and be committed to the full 6-month contract.

Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and senior leaders.
Lead on complex employee relations matters and organisational change initiatives.
Support the delivery of the wider people strategy and key HR projects.
Use workforce data and insights to inform decision-making and improve organisational performance.
Review and enhance HR policies, processes and systems.
Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and develop a small HR team to deliver a high-quality people service.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR best practice and organisational policies.
Profile
We're looking for an experienced and commercially-minded HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly establish credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR leadership role.
Strong expertise in employee relations, including complex case management.
Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience using HR data and reporting to influence outcomes.
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
Experience within the charity, education, care, healthcare or wider not-for-profit sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can quickly get up to speed, add value from day one, and commit to seeing key projects and initiatives through the full duration of the contract.
