Job Description

The Interim Finance Manager will oversee financial operations and ensure the accurate reporting of financial data within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. This temporary role is based in Glasgow and requires a strong background in accounting and finance.

Description

Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.

Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organisational goals.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Lead month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial controls and processes.

Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.

Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have

A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

Proven experience in financial management and reporting.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.

Job Offer

Competitive daily rate between £270 and £300, paid in GBP.
