Interim Ecommerce Performance Analyst Manchester Hybrid (3 days per week) Daily rate: c.£500-550 per day
We're working with a large consumer-facing business undergoing significant growth across its digital and ecommerce channels. The business is looking for an experienced analyst who can turn customer and behavioural data into actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps, customer experience improvements and commercial decision-making. Working closely with product, engineering and retail teams, you'll provide insight into customer journeys, identify opportunities to improve conversion and help define how performance is measured across the digital estate. Key Responsibilities
Analyse customer journeys, funnels and drop-off points across ecommerce platforms
Deliver cohort, segmentation and behavioural analysis to support decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve online conversion and customer experience
Provide sizing and commercial assessment of new opportunities and initiatives
Define and maintain consistent KPI and metric frameworks
Partner with product, engineering and delivery teams to drive data-led prioritisation
Build insight and reporting that supports strategic and operational decision-making
Help shape future measurement and analytics capabilities across the organisation
Strong experience within a retail or ecommerce environment
Proven background in digital, product or customer analytics
Expertise in customer behaviour, conversion and funnel analysis
Strong understanding of ecommerce performance metrics and trading KPIs
Advanced experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Contentsquare and GCP
Experience translating complex data into clear commercial recommendations
Ability to influence stakeholders through insight and evidence-based decision-making
This is not a reporting role. We're looking for someone who can identify trends, explain customer behaviour and use data to influence strategic decisions that improve performance, customer experience and commercial outcomes.
