We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful organisation seeking an ambitious Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting career within a supportive environment, with exposure to a broad range of financial responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis and commentary.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Calculate and post accruals and prepayments.
Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
Support the production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs.
Assist with audit preparation and responding to audit queries.
Prepare and post payroll journals.
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal processes.
Provide ad hoc financial support as required by the finance team.
About You You'll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to continue developing your skills.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
A positive, enthusiastic approach and willingness to improve existing processes.
