Indirect Tax Manager

Your new company A growing international business is looking to appoint an experienced Indirect Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where indirect tax plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Your new role

Ownership of UK and European VAT compliance

Review and submission of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions

Act as the key VAT advisor to finance and operational teams

Support cross-border transactions and movement of goods across Europe

Manage relationships with external advisers and tax authorities

Lead VAT audits and resolve technical VAT queries

Identify and implement process, systems and control improvements

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA, ACA or equivalent) with strong indirect tax experience gained within industry or practice. You will possess:

Strong UK VAT knowledge, with European VAT experience highly desirable

Experience dealing with cross-border transactions

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience managing VAT audits and working with external advisers

Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets
