The Opportunity

As a trusted HR Business Partner, you will work alongside managers and team leaders, providing expert guidance and coaching on a range of employee relations matters. You'll be highly visible within the business, developing strong stakeholder relationships and becoming a key advisor on people-related decisions.This is a hands-on role where you'll balance colleague experience, commercial objectives, business risk, and policy compliance, ensuring fair, consistent, and pragmatic outcomes. Alongside managing complex casework, you'll identify trends, influence change, and support the continuous improvement of people practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with operational leaders to provide expert HR and Employee Relations support.

Lead and advise on complex and sensitive ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, conduct, and absence management matters.

Coach and develop managers to build confidence and ownership of people-related issues.

Provide commercially focused advice that balances employee experience with business needs.

Analyse people data and ER trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Support organisational change initiatives and ensure people impacts are effectively managed.

Influence and challenge stakeholders to drive consistent, fair, and legally compliant decision-making.

Contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture where colleagues can thrive.

About You

We're looking for an engaging and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building relationships and making a difference.

You will bring

Significant experience within a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, Employee Relations, or Colleague Relations role.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.

Proven ability to influence, challenge, and support managers at all levels.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work autonomously.

Excellent judgement and the ability to balance risk, policy, and business objectives.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for improving colleague experience.

Experience supporting operational or contact centre environments would be highly advantageous.
