HR Services Manager

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a unique and rewarding education environment? We are seeking an experienced HR Services Manager to provide leadership and oversight of the HR function during a period of long-term sickness cover. This hands-on role requires a proactive HR professional who can quickly build relationships, provide sound advice to senior leaders, and ensure the smooth running of HR operations.
Oversee HR operations and HR service delivery across the school.
Provide advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team.
Review and update contracts, policies, and HR documentation.
Work closely with and actively engage the Bursar.
Manage payroll processes.
Support and manage a range of employee relations matters.
Ensure HR processes remain compliant and effective.
Lead and develop the HR support team.
CIPD Level 7 qualification.
Previous experience in a senior HR Manager or HR Services Manager capacity.
Experience in the education sector is preferred but will consider not for profit or other regulated environments.
Knowledge of Teachers' Pay and Conditions.
Familiarity with NJC Terms and Conditions and Agenda for Change frameworks.
Strong employee relations experience.
Experience advising senior leaders and stakeholders.
Ability to quickly build credibility and operate autonomously.
Enhanced DBS will be required due to the nature of the organisation.
