HR Business Partner – Projects, FTC
Renfrewshire | Full-time | On-site
18-24 months
Up to £47,000 dependant on experience
A hands-on HRBP role with genuine project and transformation exposure.
We’re working with an operationally focused business to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping and delivering the people agenda, with responsibility for projects spanning policy development, ERP implementation and TUPE, alongside providing pragmatic HR advice and employee relations support across the organisation.
Working closely with the HR Manager, senior leaders and wider stakeholders, you’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of projects while contributing as a collaborative member of the wider HR team.
Your time will be split between strategic HR projects, business partnering and generalist HR, giving you the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation.
Leading and delivering a range of HR projects from scoping and planning through to implementation and evaluation.
Supporting policy updates and roll-out, ensuring changes are effectively communicated and embedded.
Supporting the planning and implementation of an ERP system, working with key stakeholders to ensure HR requirements are understood and delivered.
Contributing to a wider transformation project, helping the organisation navigate people-related change.
Supporting and delivering TUPE projects, providing sound HR advice throughout the process.
Developing project plans, milestones, governance and risk management approaches.
Coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress and ensuring projects remain on track and deliver their intended outcomes.
Reviewing HR processes and identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation and digital improvement.
Using workforce data and insight to identify trends, inform recommendations and support decision-making.
We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist/HR Business Partner, ideally with a background in manufacturing, engineering or another complex operational environment, who enjoys being close to the operation and isn’t afraid to get stuck into
You’ll bring proven experience of HR project delivery, ideally with exposure to organisational change and transformation, alongside experience developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and processes. You’ll be confident partnering with managers and senior stakeholders, providing credible advice and practical solutions, while managing multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
Just as importantly, you’ll be a collaborative team player. While the role offers plenty of autonomy and ownership, it’s a supportive HR function where everyone contributes and gets involved. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and hands-on, with a willingness to support across the wider HR remit rather than being restricted by job boundaries.
